SHINTY TITLE FAVOURITE SHOCK

The results are in. Now we know who will win this year's shinty title.

According to our Shintyfan poll, Inveraray are favourites to bring the Orion Premiership home to the Royal Burgh, polling 47 per cent of the vote.
Capturing 23 per cent are reigning champs Newtonmore, but seen as second favourites in this season's title race by our wise followers.
Third favourites are Kyles Athletic, for whom 13 per cent voted.
Lovat, Kingussie and Fort William bring up the rear.

Alright, alright - it was just a bit of fun very early in the season. But Shintyfan will be running a similar poll later in the season, and it should be getting a bit more serious by that time. Watch this space.
